New Wharf Brewing Co. is an independent craft brewery based just outside Maidenhead, Berkshire. New Wharf brings a strong focus on combining traditional brewing techniques with modern creativity. Founded in 2016, the brewery was created with the aim of reviving the town’s historic brewing heritage while producing distinctive, high-quality beers for today’s drinkers. Operating from a 20-barrel brewery on a rural farm site, New Wharf produces a simple but effective core range, with an American Pale Ale (Explorer, 4.3%), an Amber Ale (Voyager, 4.8%) and a Helles Lager (Lost Soul, 4.2%). Their beers are known for being approachable yet flavourful, using carefully selected malts and hops to create balanced, characterful brews. Core beers such as Explorer (a citrus-forward American pale ale) and Voyager (a smooth, malt-driven amber ale) highlight the brewery’s mix of classic styles and modern influences, while limited releases and specials keep the lineup fresh and varied. The brewery itself is not open to the public; there is no tap room and currently brewery tours are not on offer.
